Current water allocation locations

The location of a water allocation can be changed between zones and places as outlined in the water trading rules of the relevant  resource operations plan, and changes that comply with these specific rules will be approved. In some areas, this will require that the change be made within the specified maximum and minimum volumetric constraints.

See the  current water allocation location tables  to determine if you can change the location of your water allocation through this process.

If a proposed change to a water allocation does not specifically relate to the trading rules, it may be necessary to carry out a more rigorous investigation and decision-making process—including individual assessments, public advertisement of the application, and incursion of further costs.
