Stakeholders in SLATS have a high regard for the methods and technology used in the project.
A sizeable Reference Group from diverse groups such as the Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries (DPI&F), the Queensland Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the Queensland Herbarium, the Wildlife Preservation Society of Queensland, the Queensland Conservation Council, AGFORCE, the Queensland Canegrower’s Association, the Queensland Farmer’s Federation, Australian Forest Growers, the Local Government Association, the Brisbane Region Environment Council, and University of Queensland academia, regularly monitors and continues to endorse the SLATS process.
