Soils and land resources
Queensland soils and land resource information describes landscapes and their characteristics and attributes for land management and planning. Reports, manuals and maps are now available online.
NRW gathers and maintains information about Queensland's land, water and vegetation so that any legislation, policies or plans developed are solidly based on scientific fact.
State of the Rivers
State of the Rivers projects assess the ecological and physical condition of Queensland streams relative to their presumed natural or original condition.

Climate research provides vital data on changes in temperature, rainfall and soil moisture, which affect infrastructure, agriculture, the environment and health.
