Land titles

This is Queensland's first title certificate, issued under the Torrens system of State guaranteed title, that, with some modernisations, still operates today.
The need for paper certificates of title was removed when the Automated Titles System was introduced in 1994.

Statutory covenants
In Queensland, a statutory covenant is a written agreement that may be registered on title to ensure that the obligation to comply with the covenant is transferred with the transfer of title to the land. Covenants over freehold land can be registered under the Land Title Act 1994 Part 6 Div. 4A and covenants over non-freehold land can be registered under the Land Act 1994 Chapter 6 Part 4 Div. 8A.
