Queensland Land Registry Fee Calculator
Fees calculated by this calculator are valid from 1 July to 30 June of each financial year.
As a service to our customers, the Queensland Land Registry has made available an on-line lodgment fee calculator and a downloadable lodgment fee calculator for for calculating the lodgment fees payable on commonly lodged forms, namely:

- Transfer (Fee Simple and State Leasehold)

- Record of Death

- Survey Plan
- Lease
To calculate lodgment fees using the on-line calculator select the relevant transaction type from the list on the left and complete the required fields.
A downloadable version of the Land Registry Fee Calculator is also available to calculate lodgment fees without connecting to the internet.
Lodgments may be paid for by cash, cheques, Australian currency traveller's cheques, money orders and EFTPOS (direct debit only and for amounts over $10). Credit card facilities are not available. Cheques and money orders should be made payable to "Department of Natural Resources and Water".

Release:
1. How many mortgages are to be released on this document?
Refer to Item 1 on the Release (Form 3). How many separate dealing numbers are listed?
Transfer:
Not to be used for calculation of transferring shares, transfers of an interest in a lot, Transfers of State Leasehold or Water Allocations
1. How many lots are to be transferred?
Refer to Item 2 on the Transfer (Form 1). How many lots are
listed under “Description of lot”?
2. What is the consideration/purchase price $AUD (monetary value only, Example: 200000 no commas full stops or spaces.)
Refer to Item 4 on the Transfer (Form 1)
Mortgage:
All mortgages have a set fee of $120.50 (unless lodged via post.)
Record of death:
1. How many lots are to be acquired by the surviving joint tenant/s?
Refer to Item 2 on the Request to Record Death (Form 4) how many lots are listed under “Description of lot”?
Caveat:
1. How many people/companies are listed in item 5 & 6 on the form 11.
Count all people listed irrespective of relationship.
Survey plan:
1. How many lots to be created?
Count the lots surveyed on the plan from the panel at the front.
2. How many lots are for public use land (eg park)?
Search the Survey Plan for parks. They should be easily identified with “public use” in the particular lot.
3. How many easements, leases, covenants and profits a prendre?
Count the easements, leases, covenants and profits a prendre listed in the panel.
Lease
1. Is there a lease sketch with this document?
Lease sketches are normally on A3 paper, will usually be referred to in Item 5 and found towards the back of the document.
Transfer State Leasehold/Water Allocation
1. How many leases/licences/allocations to be transferred?
Count all Title References listed in Item 2
Lodging documents by the post
The Queensland Land Title Act Regulation 2005 also allows for dealings to be lodged by the post at an additional fee of $25.60 Per document.

Pease be sure to include the following:
- a covering letter with your return address
- all relevant documentation (Declarations, Certificates of Title etc.)
- original evidence must be supplied, e.g. Original Death Certificate along with a good, clean photocopy and a request for the return of the original if required.
- a cheque for the total amount payable
NB: Forms must not be folded, you will require an A4 envelope for postal lodging.
