Station names (survey control marks)

The Australian National Network is a system of survey control marks spaced at intervals of about 500 km. This is the primary framework for the national geodetic network.

Each state has additional survey marks at intervals of about 100 km as the primary structure of their state geodetic network.

The following list shows the name and unique number of each 100 km station in Queensland in order of latitude.

The number is registered in NRW's Survey Control Database and should be used when enquiring for more information.

Accessing Geodetic Data
