The department has more than 2 million aerial photographs covering all of Queensland.

This aerial photography coverage, which has been captured at different scales and time intervals, is available for loan or purchase.

Products available include:

• contact prints—actual photographic copies that are more accurate than laser copies in scale and colour
• laser copies—coloured photocopies of aerial photographs
• enlargements of part or complete photographs up to ISO A0 sheet size (841mm x 1189mm)
• mosaics—digital products produced by joining individual scanned images across a specified location (e.g. a farm); mosaics are available as CDs or as printed copies.
• scanned images—digital products produced by electronically scanning a photograph for use on a computer.

These products may be purchased through business centres. The aerial photography list of charges applies.
