OnePlan modules
OnePlan consists of a number of modules with resources to help you prepare property plans to meet specific requirements.
You can find the modules on the following government agency websites as indicated below:
Supported by Department of Natural Resources and Water (NRW)
- Common details
- You can use this module to record information that is common to a number of planning requirements (e.g. ownership and contact details, real property description and general information about land use on your property).
- Base maps
- Most property level plans require you to prepare a base map indicating property boundaries and background landscape information. This module gives detailed information on how to prepare a property map and where to find specific mapping information.
- Vegetation management
- In this module you will find information on how to apply to clear native vegetation for a range of purposes, including harvesting for fodder. The module includes detailed guidelines and application forms.
- Land and water management plans (LWMPs)
- This module covers plans irrigators may need to prepare to use additional water as required by the Water Act 2000, or as part of normal management practice. It includes state and regional guidelines for preparing an LWMP, and indicates where you can find additional required information.
- Note: As industry farm management systems (FMS) can meet the regulatory requirement for an LWMP, check with your industry representatives about possible alternatives.
Supported by Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries (DPI&F)
- Pest management plans
- You can use this module to plan for more strategic control of particular weeds and pest animals on your property. The module includes information and worksheets to help you prepare a pest management plan and to integrate it with other property plans.
- Cattle feedlots
- This module includes comprehensive worksheets to help you prepare an environmental management plan for a cattle feedlot, and guides you through making an application for a feedlot.
Supported by QRAA (formerly Queensland Rural Adjustment Authority)
- Business plan
- This module provides a guide and worksheet to help you develop a business plan for a farming or commercial fishing enterprise.
- Resource management loans
- This module includes information and worksheets for farmers and commercial fishers preparing project proposals as part of an application for a resource management loan.
