The Department of Natural Resources and Water (NRW) provides library information and services to support the department's interest in managing the use of Queensland's land, water and vegetation resources.

Public access

NRW libraries are located at a number of locations in Brisbane.

Members of the public can visit the library in Mineral House between 8:30am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday to browse the collections and use the catalogue to locate departmental publications and other information on natural resource management. Facilities for reading and copying are available.

Direct lending services are not available to the public but loans from the NRW collections can be arranged through public, state, academic or other corporate libraries.
