You can access the policies, standards and procedures of the Department of Natural Resources and Water (NRW) from the Policy Register, which is updated whenever new or updated policies, standards and procedures are approved, or when existing ones are repealed.

The department also makes some draft policy documents available when they are released for public comment.

The policies, standards and procedures published in the register have been developed primarily for internal use within the department, and the content of some has been removed where this has been assessed as exempt content pursuant to ss 36–50 of the Freedom of Information Act 1992.
