Indigenous cadetship program
Each year, NRW offers cadetships to Indigenous university students through the National Indigenous Cadetship Program (NICP). The NICP is an initiative of the federal Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).
If you're an Indigenous university student, why not consider applying for one of our cadetships? It provides financial support through your study and is a great way to start your career...
So why would you consider our department?
What we do affects just about every Queenslander.
Our work covers land use, vegetation management, native title, cultural heritage and water demand. We monitor surface and groundwater systems and manage water trading and water rebates. We also run one of the best land titling systems in the world, look after stock routes, spatial information, unused state land and land valuations, and map electoral boundaries.
If you want to help yourself and Queensland, apply for a cadetship with us.
What an NRW indigenous cadetship will offer you...
